Mimosa — A light sparkling cocktail generally traced to Frank Meier at the Ritz Hotel in Paris around 1925. Made with sparkling wine and orange juice, it was named for the bright yellow mimosa flower and later became a brunch classic. It is very close to a Buck’s Fizz, though some sources distinguish them by ratio and service style.
